Design

The VEILLUX collections are exclusively designed by our in-house designer and OEM partners. Engineering CAD is used to design the lamps and computer-controlled machining is used to fabricate some of the parts to the required precision. VEILLUX lighting is about simplicity, elegant and quality. All the décor lamps are designed to operate at 110/240V for use in different countries, E27 incandescent or dimmable LED light bulbs.

Wood

Two types of wood are essentially used in the making of the lamp base for VEILLUX lightings. Age-old solid mango wood which is 100% plantation wood with exceptional wood grains are used for making the table and floor lamps. Solid American white oak, harvested from sustainable source are mainly used as the lamp body for the suspension lamps. VEILLUX employs its proprietary sanding technique in the wood finishing. This unique technique explains the natural feel and silky smooth finishes of the wooden surfaces. All the wood is treated and dried to RH 8-10% for the best optimum dryness condition.

Base

Stability is one of the main concern in designing the VEILLUX lightings. This posses great challenge in the design process as to achieve balance in both form and practicality of the lamp. All our lighting products are required to undergo the BS fifteen degree [15°] tilt test as standard. Without compromising on the desired feel and look of the lightings, we have developed various based options mainly using cast aluminium to provide stability for the lamps.

Fabric

VEILLUX lampshade is special though it looks ordinary from a distance. The supporting structure is made from chrome steel wire. Imported superior satin yarn is incorporated in the fabrication of our polyester-based lampshade to give the exceptional texture effect. This is yet another signature of the VEILLLUX lamps. The inner side of the lampshade is further reinforced with diffuser made from mixed polystylene and polycarbonate. This creates diffused lighting effects with reducing glare, thus makes the lamps ideal to be used as both reading and décor lamps.

Safety Standard

VEILLUX uses only high-quality, certified parts and components on the making of its lighting products. Currently, the VEILLUX lightings are designed in compliance to the CE (European) Standard, UL (USA) and PSE-mark (Japan). We also equipped with the capability to design the products in compliance with other safety standard in other countries upon request.

VEILLUX TOUCH ™

Embrace with advanced electronic technology, the three-level touch dimming control sensor is incorporated into most of the VEILLUX lighting collections. This unique and useful feature is another signature design of the VEILLUX lightings that provide exceptional convenience to users. The touch dimmer is only work with incandescent and dimmable LED/energy-saving bulbs.

Warranty

We are confident with the design and build of our products. The VEILLUX lighting products come with two years carry-in warranty on parts and electrical components. Warranty policies may differ in different countries and please check with your dealer.
